Sebastian Porsdam Mann is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Harvard Medical School’s Center for Bioethics and the University of Copenhagen. Originally enrolled in the philosophy program at the University of Cambridge, he soon developed an interest in the sciences of the mind, graduating with a degree in philosophy, psychology and neuroscience. This background enabled him to pursue graduate work at the intersection of philosophy and the brain sciences in the emerging field of neuroethics.

His current work explores the moral dimensions of modifying and creating lifeforms, blockchain, human rights, informed consent, the human right to science, and data sharing.
